Everybody needs a car. Cars ceased to be a luxury these days. Right now, they are a necessity that everyone requires to go on with their daily lives. Cars are the primary mode of transportation in the more advanced countries of the world. Of course, there's the bus, train, cab, and other public transports that you can use. But if you want to get to your workplace fast, easy, and comfortably, having a car is the way to be.
However, the price of a car is rising as time goes by. Fuel costs are getting high as well. With people always looking to save some money, there are different ways you can get a car without paying for it in full all at once. There's the popular car financing strategy. And now, you have the car lease option.
The car lease option is like renting the car instead of buying it. This means that you are not going to have full possession of the car. You are simply using it for a specified period of time, as stated in your contract. It is very much like renting a car from a car rental center. However here, you are going to borrow the car for quite a longer period of time. Two years to five years are the common time frame of a single car lease contract.
The car lease contract can work for you or against you. The first disadvantage is that you are not the owner of the car but its repair and maintenance becomes your responsibility. The leaser would expect that at the end of the contract, you will return the car in the same good condition as you took it. There's an allowance for minor aesthetic concerns and regular wear and tear. But when it comes to engine and performance on the road, the car should be up to par with others its age.
Secondly, you're still going to pay for the car and yet you won't get to be its owner. The car lease contract would indicate that you have to pay for the agreed amount on a monthly basis for as long as the contract is enforced. It is like car financing wherein you'd pay for the premiums of the car regularly. The only difference is that the amount you'll pay for with the car lease option is not as much as what you'll pay for if you choose to finance a car. This is acceptable, given that the car is not going to be yours anyway. You're simply paying for using it.
The car lease option only becomes advantageous for people who use cars on a short-term basis. This option is for those who frequently travel and stay in another state temporarily because of their work. More often than not, they are better off leasing a car for the length of their stay rather than buying an entirely new one and then sell it when they leave. The option of leasing a car is also better than always taking your own car with you anywhere you go. Freight costs are very high these days. And driving the car cross-country is not convenient half of the time.

Like the Germans, you must look passed their previous history and enjoy the country for what it has now become which is a modern society proud of its re-invention and acceptance as a global power. With some stunning countryside scenery with quaint villages and impressive cities, there is a great deal to see in Germany but you will probably require a car to take full advantage. Do yourself a favor though and pre-book your car rental for Germany at home before you go as it will be simpler and may save you some money as well.
As industrialized and urban as they may be, unfortunately, Germans aren't really that fluent in conversing in English so it's highly likely for you to not be able to be able to communicate well with them. To save time and possible hassle, especially if you have difficulty with the language then don't delay but book your car rental for Germany at home then you can be assured of choosing the car you want. Sometimes it is easy to underestimate how many miles there are between places you want to visit and a little forward planning can make all the difference between an enjoyable trip and a nightmare one. Next, try to assess if it's really more practical to have a rental car or if it's a better idea and cheaper to just take the mass transportation vehicles.
Also, consider how long you are actually going to stay in Germany and whether your expenses actually allow you to have a long term car hire. Do not say no without thinking first. If something were to happen to your rental car, would you be responsible for the damages? Without insurance, you would.
However, this does not mean that you need the rental car company's insurance policy. Do you have car insurance on your own vehicle? If so, find out what your current car insurance company covers on rental cars. You may have full coverage on rental cars with your current insurance provider.

While this problem is consistent, the overriding theme in transportation is comparative ease, when compared to other tropical vacation destinations.
Another advantage of using taxis in Cuba comes is the variety of options available. This aspect is especially present in Varadero and Havana. The main alternative to a traditional taxi comes in the form of Coco-taxis. These vehicles are small, three wheeled cabs. These egg shaped vehicles are generally orange or yellow and make basic commutes a unique experience. At first glance they appear slow and insufficient to meet most travel needs, but on the road these cabs move swiftly through the streets. Coco-taxis offer services for a lower price then most taxi companies. The cost is negotiable and paid in advance, and is not a set fare for services.
Other varieties of taxis can be found around Cuba. The most common of these is horse drawn cabs. This rustic means of travel is often accompanied by lanterns after dark, and can provide a very relaxing commute. Many vacationers to Cuba wind up not relying on any transportation service by spending the entirety of their vacation at their resort. Cuba has many modern resorts in which visitors find that they have everything they need in or close by to their hotel.
However, if visitors to Cuba want to soak up the country's distinct culture and history, they must venture out of the confines of their resort. The taxi and rental car market in Cuba provides a steady service to tourists. All things considered, vacationers can count on these services to get them where they're going. The variety of ways to get around the tropical island coupled with the overall reliability of the roads makes travelling around Cuba an experience that can be quite rewarding. Well maybe not that bad, but sometimes, well most of the time, the people that assist you in car rentals just doesn't have your best interest in mind, so you end up paying a truckload of money for a pool of frustrations. There are a few things that can help you when you organize a low cost rental car and I decided to let you know a few.

Most of you will have, by now, cottoned on to the freedom a hire care can give you whilst on holiday. After the usual rigmarole of keeping everyone together whilst using public transplant and trying to keep the kids happy, having your own transport can be invaluable.
So just how easy is it to arrange, how can you save money and what are the pitfalls to be avoided? Follow me to find out:
Economy - first and foremost you should consider the type of car you will be hiring. Do you need to drive that flashy cabriolet around for the week with an average fuel consumption of 30mpg, or could a more down to earth family/smaller car with an average fuel consumption closer to 40mpg suffice?
If you can hire a diesel or hybrid vehicle you will save much money on fuel if you intend to get out and explore your chosen holiday destination.
Navigation - another way to save money on fuel (and time when you get lost) is to hire or take a sat-nav unit with you. This will ensure you have no trouble getting to the places you want and can be invaluable.
Insurance - be wary of arrangingcar hire whilst in resort as the reps will often try and convince you to stump for extra, unnecessary insurance polices. Please do bear in mind that mostcar rental firms only offer limited coverage in the package so you may feel it worthwhile if you intend to indulge in a little less than sedate driving.
Fuel charge - a little trick somecar hire firms will employ is to charge you for not having a full tank when you return the vehicle. They will do so unless the needle is clearly on or above the agreed point (you should always put a little extra in to allow for misjudgement, £2-3 at the pump is better than a £30 charge).
Hopefully the above tips should save you a little time and money but there is one last piece of wisdom I wish to impart before you go - if you pick up the car and there are any visible marks, dents or other examples of damage, take a picture as proof! This is one thing that could save you an argument and the loss of your deposit should this become an issue.

Things To See/Do in Alghero:
Alghero is one of Sardinia's most popular resorts and is one of the few places outside of Spain where Catalan is spoken. However, Italian staples like pizza and ice cream remain ubiquitous and thrifty travellers on a budget will be glad to learn that eating out is cheap in Sardinia.

Another thing to ask is whether your credit card company has negotiated special discounts with the budget car rental company you are going to use. Perhaps your frequent flyer program or military service can help reduce the cost of renting a car; it's a long shot but it's worth a try.
You would be wise to inspect your rental car before you drive off as you may find minor collision damage from previous renters which you do not want to pay for when you return. Not only the outside but also check the inside and make sure all the controls etc. work as the last thing you want is a hefty repair bill when you return the car.One other thing to remember is to check your vehicle insurance policy as you will more than likely find that it provides rental car insurance cover so that's another saving. Even though rental car insurance isn't going to cost you a fortune, there is no point in paying it if you are already covered; even though it may not seem important, driving without auto insurance can land you in a ton of trouble.
Whatever the case, you must still have insurance cover when you rent a car so don't try and skip it to save money.
